1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ClipRemix. By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ClipRemix provides tools for transforming and repurposing YouTube videos into various formats such as Twitter threads and LinkedIn posts. The Service includes, but is not limited to, the ClipRemix website, applications, and any other services provided by ClipRemix.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Posting or transmitting any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
- Using the Service to harm minors in any way.
- Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images, and logos are the intellectual property of ClipRemix and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized use of these materials is prohibited.
6. Payment and Credits
ClipRemix operates on a credit-based system. Users can purchase credits through our payment processor (Stripe). Each credit allows for one generation (e.g., a Twitter thread or LinkedIn post). All sales of credits are final and non-refundable.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the Service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipRemix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use of or inability to use the Service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the Service. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
